Project Complete: New-Build Roof & Wall Cladding Glenrothes

Industrial Roofing Scotland has successfully completed a new-build roof and wall cladding installation in Glenrothes, delivering a complete external envelope for a modern industrial facility.

The project formed part of a wider new-build development and required the installation of anti-condensation roof sheets and wall cladding to create a durable, weather-resistant, and energy-efficient building envelope. Working closely with the principal contractor and other site trades, our team coordinated works to maintain programme milestones while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the installation.

The scope of works included the installation of roof panels, wall claddin, flashings, rainwater goods, and all associated finishing details. Particular attention was given to achieving a high- quality aesthetic finish while ensuring the building remained fully wind and watertight as construction progressed.

Operating within a live construction environment required careful planning and communication to coordinate lifting operations, material deliveries, and interface works with neighbouring trades. Through proactive management and close collaboration with the wider project team, the installation was completed safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.

The completed building now provides a robust, energy-efficient facility designed to support long-term operational storage while delivering an attractive, modern appearance that blends into the surrounding environment.

This project stands as another example of Industrial Roofing Scotland’s capability to successfully deliver new-build roof and wall cladding installations across Scotland, supporting clients and principal contractors from initial construction through to final handover.
