“This project was all about providing an effective roofing solution without disrupting the client's operations. The building was experiencing deterioration and water ingress issues that needed addressing, but the client couldn't afford downtime or interruption to their business activities.
That's where an overcladding approach made perfect sense. Rather than stripping the existing roof and leaving the building exposed during works, we specified and installed a complete roof overcladding system that worked over the top of the existing structure.
The technical solution we specified provides long-term performance—we're anticipating a lifespan of around 25 years for this system. That's not just weathertightness, but also significantly improved thermal performance compared to what was there previously.
