Industrial Roofing Scotland announce wall cladding partnership with Raith Rovers

Industrial Roofing Scotland and Raith Rovers Football Club are delighted to announce a new commercial partnership between the two Fife-based organisations. The strategic alliance will see Industrial Roofing Scotland deliver new wall cladding to Stark’s Park’s Main Stand – in readiness for the 24-25 season.

The stadium upgrade is just one of several ambitious plans laid out by the new Raith Rovers leadership team.

Industrial Roofing Scotland will install new wall cladding to the Archibald Leitch designed stand – revitalising the oldest stand on site with a bold new look in signature deep blue cladding. The improvements to the building and its infrastructure will help secure the long-term future of this iconic Kirkcaldy landmark and showcases the vision of the new board as they strive for a return to the Scottish Premier League.

The Stadium Transformation

The main stand, located on Kirkcaldy’s Pratt Street, has been largely untouched for almost 100 years – aside from having a new roof installed in 1999. Industrial Roofing Scotland are well versed when it comes to roof and wall cladding refurbishment projects, having delivered similar refurbishment projects throughout Scotland.

Dean Mackenzie, Club General Manager commented:

“We are delighted to be teaming up with Industrial Roofing Scotland to deliver a new look for the stadium’s Main Stand, ahead of the new season. The buzz around the club over the past 12 months has been amazing, and the upgrade of the Turnbull Hatton stand further signifies the board’s intent to move the club forward.

“The Main Stand has stood practically untouched for a century following its completion in 1925. The proposals for the new frontage, as well as creating a new and inviting experience for fans, will also enhance the building’s durability and energy efficiency, which is great from a commercial perspective.”

The works are set to start in the coming weeks and will last around 5 weeks.

Strengthening Ties

As well as being the official cladding partner for the works, Industrial Roofing Scotland will also join as one of Raith’s commercial partners for the 2024-25 season. The Industrial Roofing Scotland brand will be seen across all media channels – including website, social media and physical branding inside the ground.

Industrial Roofing Scotland’s Jamie Morton said:

“It’s exciting times at Industrial Roofing Scotland, we are evolving day-by-day, very similar to what’s going on at Raith Rovers. We, like them, have a real commitment to bringing the best out of our people and we see some synergy with what’s going on at Raith Rovers – although in significantly different markets.

“It was a thrilling ride for Raith fans last year, the trials and tribulations of trying to win promotion galvanised the whole community around the club. We are thrilled to be joining the fray and look forward to supporting the club in their hunt for promotion this season.”

Looking Ahead

We are currently in liaison with Raith Rovers to fine-tune the planning around the new cladding works – which is a significant investment on both sides. But more than that, the proposals that have been put in place, really are a win-win for both organisations. It symbolises a shared vision of progress and performance, and one where both sides aim to offer added value in their respective fields – for Raith, it’s about the fans; and for us, it’s about our clients.

Here’s to a successful season and to a partnership that we hope will deliver tangible results on and off the pitch.
